About Us

Why We're Here (Our Mission):

Restoring our community by making disciples while loving and serving our neighbors.

What Motivates Us (Our Core Values):

God Does the Heavy Lifting: God calls us to be faithful and to trust Him to do the rest. Knowing that the results are in His hands keeps us humble and focused on glorifying Him whenever we see fruit.

This is demonstrated by:

  • Trusting that God will always accomplish His purposes in everything we do.
  • Fostering a culture of dependence on God through prayer.
  • Embracing our limits by creating sustainable rhythms for ministry resting in the fact that God is in control.

Gospel-Centered Living: We proclaim the gospel as the answer for both those who trust and follow Jesus and those who don’t. The gospel isn’t the ABCs of the Christian life, it’s the A-Z of the Christian life.

This is demonstrated by:

  • Preaching biblical sermons that help everyone understand the implications of the gospel for all of life.
  • Helping people understand and live out of their new identity in Christ.
  • Fostering a discipleship culture that goes beyond behavior modification to embracing the truths of the gospel at the heart level.

Relational Ministry: We believe the power of the gospel flows through relationships. This makes sense when you realize that God created us for relationships: with Him and with others.

This is demonstrated by:

  • Making loving God and loving people the focus of our discipleship.
  • Evaluating our ministry programs and events by how well they connect people into disciple-making relationships.
  • Fostering a culture where we resolve conflicts biblically.

Authentic Brokenness: It’s impossible for us to really grow spiritually without being transparent and vulnerable. We strive to be a safe place where it’s ok not to be ok.

This is demonstrated by:

  • Utilizing Huddles as a safe space where people can be open and honest about their struggles.
  • Fostering a culture where we give people permission to lovingly speak the truth into our lives.
  • Expecting leaders to be open about their struggles and constant need for grace.

Strategic Ministry: God has given each of us only one life to live for His glory. We want to make the best use of the short time that He has given us on this earth.

This is demonstrated by:

  • Planning and implementing a faithful strategy for accomplishing the mission God has given us.
  • Leveraging the resources (time, talent, and treasure) that God has blessed us with in the most effective way to accomplish the mission He’s given us.
  • Using a comprehensive approach to ministry in a narrow graphic focus.
