Gospel-centered service is motivated by the reconciling work of God and seeks to extend His grace and mercy to others for His glory...not our own. It is an expression of love displayed with humility, generosity and hospitality and empowered by a passion for the glory of God.
Everyone who has been impacted by the gospel has numerous ways to serve at Crossover Bible Church. Setting up the sanctuary, sweeping sidewalks, connecting with our guests, teaching, singing, serving communion, tutoring, coaching youth sports, volunteering at our medical clinic, and helping with construction projects all represent opportunities for Gospel-centered service.

Facilities Team
Prepare the building for Sunday Worship and other events.
Requirements: None
Commitment: We are asking for 2-4 hours per month by serving 2 consecutive Sundays and off for 4 Sundays.
Role: This team serves the body by helping maintain the building and entryways. Our goal is to keep the facility clean and well-kept so that there are no hindrances to ministry activities. Duties include: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, setting up classrooms, taking out trash, straightening up the Sanctuary and miscellaneous projects.

Connection Team
Volunteers on the welcome team serve by greeting, handing out bulletins and finding seats for attendees.
Requirements: Regular attender of Sunday morning worship service.
Commitment: 2-3 hours per month serving for 2 consecutive Sundays and then off for 4 Sundays.
Role: This role requires a heart of compassion, hospitality and service. We attempt to make Crossover Bible Church a place where people are welcomed, wanted and loved. Connection team members serve our guest on Sunday mornings by helping them navigate around our facility on Sunday mornings and help our guest feel right at home.

Worship Arts Team
Serve in the worship ministry by singing, playing an instrument or leading.
Requirements: Covenant Member
Commitment: 4-12 hours per month (including Saturday morning rehearsals for band members).
Role: Members of our worship arts team use their creative gifts and talents to help the rest of the Crossover family authentically worship God.

Crossover Kids Volunteer
Serve in our Crossover Kids children's ministry on Sunday mornings as a teacher or teacher helper.
Requirements: Covenant Member of Crossover Bible Church
Commitment: 3-4 hours per month serving for 2 consecutive Sundays with 4 Sundays off.
Role: Teachers, Nursery workers, and Teacher Helpers help our families disciple their kids by providing a safe and engaging environment as our classes travel through the Scriptures together.

Tech Team
Runs audio, worship slides and other elements of programming during Sunday morning services.
Requirements: Regular Attender
Commitment: 5-6 hours per month serving 2 consecutive weeks and off for 4 weeks.
Role: The production team runs audio, worship slides and other elements of programming during Sunday morning services. We are also looking for volunteers skilled in video editing. Members of the production team should be willing to learn complex audio and video production equipment. Training provided.

Crossover Community Impact Volunteer
Volunteer in our community develop ministry.
Requirements: None
Commitment: varies.
Role: We have various volunteer opportunities through our Christian Community Development ministry Crossover Community Impact. We are in need of tutors, youth sports coaches, spiritual care providers at our clinic, and individuals with various skills for our home remodel projects.
